Bio

Grace develops a non-profit strategy with a focus on helping people realize their full potential. She has a background in Mechanical Engineering and Analytics and is especially interested in technology opportunities for personal and business development. As IB alumni herself, Grace has experience navigating the curriculum to achieve high marks on IB exams and prepare for using knowledge gained through the program in your future educational endeavors. She loves math and enjoys making it more approachable for others. Grace has experience tutoring elementary – adult students both in-person and virtually and has developed customized curriculum paths for all ages and skill levels.

Teaching Experience

Computer Literacy: February 2016 – Present (Developed and facilitated courses for adults to build literacy in applications commonly used in gaining and maintaining employment)
Online Tutoring: March 2020-Present (IB Math, Algebra, High School English, SAT Prep)
Coaching: May 2012 – Present (Lacrosse, Swimming)

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

In a typical first session with a student, I would be interested in understanding what they have been learning recently, what topics have been difficult to understand, reviewing the syllabus for the course, and reviewing a recent test or assignment.
