Tutor Teaching Style
Education is not for me merely a job but my passion and essence. I believe that my thirst for knowledge and the pleasure I receive in learning and new experiences are inspirational to my students within the classroom. I am a teacher who encourages student-centered learning by allowing my students to share in decisions, believing in their capacity to lead, and remembering how learning feels. Mistakes are critical to learning, and I encourage students to accept them and try again. Considering students are digital natives, I have learned a lot of new strategies to make the learning process more effective and successful. I am a teacher who wants to transform students and help them reach their best potential through dynamic inquiry, action, and reflection cycles. A teacher is a role model who has to care for their student's academic and personal success.
In principle, I would like to get to know the student and understand their objectives, in which areas of the subject or aspects of the component they feel less prepared, and what is their most efficient way of studying. I believe in student-centered education. Therefore I can adapt to the style of each student. In a typical first session, we will analyze the student's objective, plan, and set expectations and deadlines. And, of course, we will start to work!
Ciego a las culpas, el destino puede ser despiadado con las mínimas distracciones- "El Sur", Jorge Luis Borges
