Tutor Teaching Style
"I never teach my pupils; I only provide the conditions in which they can learn" Albert Einstein.
My teaching philosophy as a language teacher is student-centered. I believe that the learning process happens in every student's brain differently. Still, our job is to evaluate how the students learn better to provide them with the practical activities that make them meet their potentialities and embrace that potential to face the real world in the future. I don't teach just a language; I show the students a whole new world using a target language. It is for that reason that I don't believe in the standardization of the education system. We should be able to assess students' progress in different ways and not just exams.
It is very important to have some information about my learner and his levels, needs, and interests before the learning takes place. Therefore, I should prepare an entry test to detect his level of knowledge, but also conduct a short survey to collect information about his interests, learning styles, and expectations. Afterward, I can use this information while designing the learning activities
