Make learning effective and straightforward through real-life examples and drawing parallels with everyday objects.
In the first lesson, I try to grasp what the student attempts to gain through our interactions. I develop a sense of understanding the student's needs and wants through the session. I also try to evaluate the student's current capabilities and provide them with a rough plan to move forward confidently.
I believe that once you learn something well, you can rarely forget it, just like riding a bike. I provide the student with the appropriate basic knowledge and skills to apply this knowledge in different scenarios to become an independent learner. I also provide regular and constructive feedback to the student to increase their confidence and develop their learning skills.
I tend to use simple examples and make it a point to connect other non-subject-related interests of the student with the topic they are trying to understand. I use positive encouragement and try to show students different aspects of learning and tools to stay motivated. I also chalk out plans with the students to study and ensure that I give them the freedom to choose how a class could go.
Firstly I would understand where the student is facing difficulty. Depending on the situation, I would try different teaching methods and use various tools to help the student. I would use another technique to break down the concept into smaller fragments and then allow the student to put them together.
I would provide students with a simplified version of the material to grasp the concept's meaning. I believe that using small, straightforward words in English to explain concepts and keywords helps students apply their knowledge using appropriate scientific keywords.
I feel that the following strategies have been most successful: Building a good rapport and identifying different areas of interest, Using a wide range of tools, from videos, to drawings to flowcharts, during teaching, and providing students with a space with open communication lines 4. Being open and flexible in my teaching methods so that the student gains confidence
I would try to use alternative teaching methods and various tools to supplement them. I would also show them animations or cartoons to catch their eye and keep them motivated. My forte lies in providing students with a fun and engaging environment to help them do better.
I would use various methods to ensure the student has understood the material, starting from imitating inquiry-based questions, using appropriate and effective teaching materials, and checking their understanding regularly. I would ask direct questions, draw parallels with other systems and give them exam-style questions to ensure that their understanding is clear.
By creating an environment where they are allowed to express themselves freely. By understanding and explaining to them their strengths and weaknesses. By working together in setting small goals and planning effectively. By providing feedback with constructive comments on reaching their set goals.
Through asking questions related to topics and assessing their initial levels of understanding, and through regular assignments and assessments, with a focus on interactions.
I take feedback from the students to tailor my classes to their needs and provide practical learning strategies. I am constantly updating my teaching and learning skill set to be better available and accessible to students.
