My philosophy of education has changed from my previous years of teaching to what I believe today. My belief in education aligns with the Theory of Constructivism. In the constructivist theory, the student selects and transforms information, builds hypotheses, and makes decisions; its focus is on how to construct knowledge, not retelling information learned. I think that what we know is created through one's personal experiences, previous knowledge, and beliefs. For me, as an educator, this means that I try and encourage students to discover principles by themselves. I allow them to have conversations among their classmates and with myself. My main task as a teacher is to present information to be learned that matches or closely matches the student's level of learning. I have taught using a curriculum organized in a spiral manner; I think it is essential for my students to build upon what they have already learned continually. As an educator, I would modify my teaching strategies to student responses and encourage my students to analyze, interpret, and predict information. Promoting progress and letting students improve themselves in any area is one of my the self and society. The emphasis would focus on learning, developing thinking skills, better interpersonal relationships, and meeting student interests. The students would be encouraged to be creative, express their ideas, and appreciate the differences between themselves and others. My responsibility would be to guide and stimulate curiosity and interest in students and push them towards problem solving and science.

Generate inquiry and test students prior knowledge. This will assist me to know the student better and set my pace accordingly.
