How are you able to operate in 60+ countries?
Our services are fully online. Students from across the globe are therefore able to access our tuition services completely remotely from their homes.
Will my tutor be close to me, i.e. is it safe?
Your tutor will most likely not be in your jurisdiction as our teachers are based in many countries. Your tutoring sessions will take place in a secure online learning environment with tools designed specifically for online teaching. ++tutors is an organization that provides access to education only. We take no responsibility for the conduct of the tutor nor do we exercise control over such conduct.

All of the educators we work with are handpicked from thousands of applicants from around the world. Approximately 60% of our tutors have served or currently serve in an official IB capacity, such as:

How do I find a tutor?
We make finding the right tutor simple. Complete our online form with your requirements, and we'll match you with qualified tutors within 5 business days. You'll receive profiles of tutors who specialize in your subject area and can accommodate your schedule. From there, you can select the tutor who best fits your needs.
How do I schedule lessons?
Once you've selected your tutor and made your payment, your tutor will reach out to you directly to arrange a mutually convenient schedule. You and your tutor will work together to set up regular lesson times that fit both of your schedules.
Are sessions recorded?
Yes, all tutoring sessions are recorded on our third-party platform. These recordings serve two purposes: they allow students to review the material covered in their lessons, and they form part of our quality assurance process to ensure all sessions meet our high standards.
Pricing & Payments
How much does tutoring cost?
Our hourly rates for standard tutors are $60–75/hr and for premium tutors $95–150/hr, depending on the tutor's qualifications and experience level. Tutors who are current or former IB examiners typically charge at the higher end of this range due to their specialized expertise.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards as our preferred payment method. This ensures a secure and convenient payment process for all our clients.
How does the credit system work?
When you purchase tutoring services, you're buying credits that load onto your account. These credits are then used to pay for your lessons. You must pay in advance for your booking to be valid. Credits remain valid as long as you maintain regular contact with your tutor and the ++tutors team.
What are your cancellation policies?
For Individual Sessions:
You can cancel or amend a lesson without incurring a fee if you provide at least 48 hours' notice to your tutor. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur the full lesson fee.
For Course Packages:
You may cancel within 14 business days of booking for a full refund, provided no tutor has been assigned. After a tutor has been assigned, standard cancellation policies apply.
No-Shows:
If you don't attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice, you'll be charged for the full lesson.
What if I don't respond to my tutor's contact attempts?
If you don't respond to contact attempts from your tutor or the ++tutors team within two months of making your booking, your account credits will expire and no longer be valid for use. We encourage all students to maintain regular communication to avoid losing their purchased credits.
Satisfaction Guarantee
What is your satisfaction guarantee?
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of your first tutoring session, you're entitled to either a full refund or a replacement tutor at no extra charge. You must contact us within 24 hours of your first session to request a refund.
Can I switch tutors if I'm not satisfied?
Absolutely! You can switch to a different tutor at any time, free of charge. We want to ensure you find the right match for your learning style and academic needs. Simply contact us and we'll help you find an alternative tutor who may be a better fit.
How do I provide feedback on my sessions?
After each tutoring session, you'll have the opportunity to rate your tutor and provide feedback on your experience. This feedback system helps us maintain quality standards and ensures that all students receive the best possible tutoring experience.
What if my tutor doesn't contact me after I book?
If your assigned tutor doesn't contact you within one week of your booking, your session will be automatically cancelled and you'll receive a full refund. Additionally, if you haven't heard from your tutor within 2 days, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and resolve the situation.
