Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page is the plain-language version. It says the same thing as the refund and cancellation clauses in our Terms of Use, which is the contract — if you ever find the two disagreeing, tell us and we will honour whichever is better for you while we fix it.
Not happy after your first session?
If you are not happy after the first session, tell us within 24 hours and we will refund you in full or move you to a different tutor — your choice.
One-to-one tutoring
Hours bought as credit and used with a tutor you are matched with.

| Your tutor cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice | Your next lesson of the same length is half price, unless you agree otherwise with the tutor. |
| No tutor has made contact within a week of booking | The booking is cancelled and you are refunded in full. |
- Unused credit does not expire while your account is active, but hours lapse if we cannot reach you for two months after a booking.
- Missed lessons are charged — the tutor held the time.
Group programmes and courses
The Year-Long Program and our short group cohorts — exam prep, retake and summer intensives.

| Before the first class of a semester | Full refund of that semester’s fee. |
| Before the second class | We keep two weeks of the semester fee and refund the rest. |
| Before the fourth class | We keep four weeks of the semester fee and refund the rest. |
| Before the sixth class | We keep six weeks of the semester fee and refund the rest. |
| From the sixth class of a semester onwards | That semester’s fee is not refundable — the place cannot be resold and the group has formed around your child. |
| We cannot form your group, or we close it | Everything you have paid comes back, registration fee included. That shortfall is ours, not yours. |
- You commit one semester at a time. Cancelling stops all future instalments.
- Missed classes are not refunded or credited — the group keeps to its schedule. You get the recording and the materials instead.
- Changing your mind about the tutor is not a refund event; we may change a tutor for one of equivalent standing.
- Moving to one-to-one tuition is not a cancellation — we adjust what you pay instead.
How to cancel
Email edu@plusplustutors.com. Email us and we will confirm in writing, stop any future instalments, and pay any refund due within 14 days.
There is no cancellation form, no retention call you have to sit through, and no notice you have to give by phone.
If your local law gives you more
Consumer protection rules differ by country, and some of them give you stronger rights than this page does. Where that is the case, your local rules win — ask us and we will apply them. We would rather do that than argue about it.
