I have been teaching for 26 years in different international schools around the world. I have worked as Head of Department and Vice Principal, but I am now working online from home. Teaching Style
My methodology and approach to tutoring
What is your teaching philosophy?
We start from where you are and I show you how to get to where you want to be. I focus my teaching on you, the student, your strengths and the areas you need to develop. All answers lie within us. I can guide you, but it is your path, your journey, and only you can walk it for yourself.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
This is the time to discuss what the student needs from me. What are their strengths and what are the areas in which the need to improve. I get to know my students, and what interests them, and what they want to do beyond school. I learn what motivates them and how we can use those motivations to generate academic success.
