I am a Gold Medalist from Delhi College of Art with twenty- nine years of Teaching Experience, and have been guiding students in IGCSE Art and Design, IBDP and MYP Visual Arts and Extended Essay. I am a dedicated hardworking educator always aiming for excellence, and the appreciation that I have always received from my students and parents, has been my greatest satisfaction and motivation. Through a student-centric approach, I prioritize individual needs and goals of my students. My IB and IGCSE students have always scored Top Grades in Visual Arts and Art and Design respectively as well as in Extended Essay (Visual arts). I have also acquired higher skills as Computer Graphic Designer. As a Freelance artist and designer, I have participated in solo and group shows and guide my students to curate their exhibitions as well.

My methodology and approach to tutoring
What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe in a student-centric approach in the classroom, prioritizing individual needs and goals of my students. A personal rapport with each student, allows me to assess them as individuals and tailor lessons to suit multiple intelligences. The crux of my classroom philosophy is one on one discussions with my students affirming a holistic engagement in the teaching- learning process and exposure to varied art mediums in sync with their skill sets. My goal is to engender student motivation, create awareness and understanding of the arts.
