What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy aligns with the IB Learner Profile. I encourage students to become inquirers, thinkers, and communicators, integrating culture, reflection, and creativity into language learning. I believe in differentiation and empowerment, adapting strategies to support independent and confident learners.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I begin with a diagnostic conversation and short writing/speaking task to understand the student’s current level, goals, and learning preferences. Together, we design a personalized plan aligned with IB criteria and real-life interests.
