About Marzieh
My name is Marzieh. I finished high school, majoring in Mathematics. During my school years, I had the opportunity to teach mathematics to other students. I studied Bachelor of Applied Mathematics at the University of Qazvin, Iran. I was a teaching assistant during my study at my university. I solved many Complex Theory exercises in studying for my Bachelor’s degree. Tutoring was my job after finishing a Bachelor’s degree. Then I began to study for the Master of Science at University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia, from 2016 to 2018. I majored in Numerical Analysis. I have taught math for 7 years, covering many books and topics. I have taught students from elementary levels to college and university. I started teaching IB Math HL/SL in 2017, and with my exceptional ability to help IB students, I was able to help hundreds of students to master the tests.
Teaching Experience
Mathematics Tutor
- I Conducted IB Math tutorial services by visiting clients' homes and online tutoring.
- Provided assessment of student performance in school by reviewing homework and past test results.
- Helped IB Math students in their IA preparation.
- Helped students pass long exams and mastery tests by creating long sample tests for practice.
- Assisted students in understanding their current IB Math subjects/topics in school.
- Maintain records of students tutored.
- Assist students with learning and reviewing subject materials during scheduled tutoring appointments and drop-in tutoring sessions.
Mathematics Tutor
- Linear Algebra, Calculus, Latex, Maple Programming, Maths, etc., for college students.
- Provided one-to-one tuition.
- Conducted group classes for high school students.
Mathematics Lecturer
- Recorded students passing rate of 91 percent.
- Developed several ways to help students get more involved in each Mathematics lab experiment.
- Worked with faculty to develop after-school educational activities that were extremely popular.
- Assisted the school in developing several educational guidelines that are still used to date.
Statistics Teacher (Volunteer Experience)
- Recorded all grades and progress updates for administration and parents.
- Encouraged students to participate in classroom discussions to maximize learning.
- Utilised multi-media approaches to classroom instruction to reach all students.

-very patient about mistakes -clearly explains concepts that can be difficult to grasp -provides practice questions that the student can do to solidify their understanding, both in session and during the students own time (if the student wishes to do so) Recommended for both students struggling in math and for students who wish to strengthen their understanding
