My methodology and approach to tutoring
What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy for an International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) Economics educator emphasizes on the Conceptual Understanding, helping students grasp key economic concepts and theories. Encourage students to analyze and evaluate economic arguments, fostering skills in critical thinking and problem-solving, real-world examples to illustrate economic principles, making the content relevant and engaging.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Asking about the interest for the subject and the purpose of studying the subject Economics. Listening to students and their problems faced in the subject and how can I help them. Introducing important key concepts and terminologies to make the student familiar with the subject and make sure that since it is student's first session, I will make sure that the child get comfortable with Economic terminology and basis.
