About Souhair
I have taught IB French B SL and HL since the inception of the program in our school and I am an MYP Examiner for the French course. I have also taught IGCSE French Foreign and first for a decade. I am an EE Supervisor and will be more than happy to guide you with your IO's. I also teach the Delf program for A2, B1, and B2. I am passionate about the Arabic language and I teach Arabic to beginners. I have participated in many training courses in French B learning and teaching methods. I like reading, traveling, hiking, and cooking. My methodology is based on responding to your specific needs. To do so, I will give you 100% personalized classes with many valuable resources and will always respect your learning pace. Teaching Experience
IB French B SL/ HL, IGCSE French First and foreign, EE supervisor and IB examiner for the MYP Programme
- Develop students' linguistic abilities through the development of receptive, productive, and interactive skills. Help students to understand, analyze and reflect upon a range of written, audio, visual and audio-visual texts. I prepare students for their IO's and supervise EEs in French B in the three categories.

- Contributed to the development of SABIS primary texts and supplementary materials and Progressed academic development by utilizing IT products such as ITL and EGS.

My methodology and approach to tutoring
What is your teaching philosophy?
"I never teach my pupils; I only provide the conditions in which they can learn" Albert Einstein. My teaching philosophy as a language teacher is student-centered. I believe that the learning process happens in every student's brain differently. Still, our job is to evaluate how the students learn better to provide them with the practical activities that make them meet their potentialities and embrace that potential to face the real world in the future. I don't teach just a language; I show the students a whole new world using a target language. It is for that reason that I don't believe in the standardization of the education system. We should be able to assess students' progress in different ways and not just exams.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
It is very important to have some information about my learner and his levels, needs, and interests before the learning takes place. Therefore, I should prepare an entry test to detect his level of knowledge, but also conduct a short survey to collect information about his interests, learning styles, and expectations. Afterward, I can use this information while designing the learning activities
