I am a true blue Biologist since school with all my efforts in learning mainly based in the field of Biology, right from my Bachelor's program in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology to my doctoral degree in Biotechnology, where I worked in Human Physiology. I have been teaching students Biology since my Master's program in Health Sciences. I have the inept ability to make all topics simple and easy to understand by using real-life examples and drawing parallels with everyday objects and processes. I have taught biology and its related aspects to students from grades 8 to 12 across different curricula since 2018. I believe that giving students the confidence and appropriate skills to use their knowledge is the best way to assist students to succeed. My interests in Biology lie in Genetics, Evolution, and Human physiology with a passion for research and developing laboratory and scientific skills. As an IBDP Examiner for Biology, I have experience in correcting IAs this past year. This has made my understanding of the research components of the IB program more concrete. I have obtained 100% results with my IBDP students with high grades in their IAs and EEs, with all three of my EE students scoring A. I am the ideal person to contact if you need a clear, solid understanding

What is your teaching philosophy?
Make learning effective and straightforward through real-life examples and drawing parallels with everyday objects.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In the first lesson, I try to grasp what the student attempts to gain through our interactions. I develop a sense of understanding the student's needs and wants through the session. I also try to evaluate the student's current capabilities and provide them with a rough plan to move forward confidently.
